South Florida Sun-Sentinel: Campaign rolls out race car and names winning contributor
Here's what the car sponsored by U.S. Senate candidate Kendrick Meek in Saturday's NASCAR race in Daytona Beach looks like.
It's part of the effort by the Miami Democrat, whose current seat in Congress includes part of South Broward, to appeal to north Florida voters.
The Meek campaign also said Wednesday that Miriam Sexton from Ft. Myers won a contest to join the Meek family watching the race on Saturday. Sexton, a retired clinical psychologist originally from Massachusetts, contributed $5 to enter the contest.
