Hispanic Caucus Endorsement
Miami Gardens, FL – Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus endorsed their colleague U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek for the U.S. Senate today citing Meek’s strong stance on issues of mutual concern as reason for their support.
Meek, a four-term congressman representing Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in Florida, pledged to carry forward the fight to the U.S. Senate that both he and Congressional Hispanic Caucus members have jointly worked on while serving in the U.S. House of Representatives together.
“To receive the endorsement from colleagues who are members of the Democratic leadership, serving as Chairs of the Small Business Committee, Intelligence Committee and 12 subcommittee chairs, and are all shaping the public policy debate in Congress is an honor,” said U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek. “I am pleased these members of Congress will be spending time with me in Florida, lending our campaign their expertise on a wide range of issues and drawing upon their years of service to assist this effort.”

Miami Gardens, FL – Hoy, miembros del Concilio Hispano Congresional fuertemente apoyaron a su colega, el Congresista Kendrick Meek en su contienda para el Senado de los Estados Unidos, citando como la razón por su apoyo, las fuertes posiciones tomadas por Meek en temas de mutuo interes.
Meek, quien está en su cuarto periodo como Congresista representando los Condados de Miami-Dade y Broward, se comprometio a continuar luchando en el Senado por los temas en los que él y el Concilio Hispano Congresional han trabajado conjuntamente en la Cámara de Representantes.
