Deutch Endorsement

Ted DeutchMiami Gardens, FL - U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek received the endorsement of State Senator Ted Deutch today at a press conference attended by West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel.

Deutch was also endorsed by Meek and Frankel to replace U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler in Congress.  Frankel announced her endorsement of Meek on May 21.

"Ted Deutch has accomplished so much for Floridians in the State Senate, and he will be an extraordinary member of Congress," said U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek. "There is no doubt in my mind that Ted will be one of Israel's fiercest advocates on Capitol Hill and the in-house expert on how best to respond to the Iranian threat in the Middle East. Ted is full of energy and ideas and he will fight to bring new jobs and economic opportunity to Palm Beach and Broward Counties."

"Kendrick is a tireless advocate for families and seniors and to receive the endorsement of Florida's next U.S. Senator is a real honor.   He has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the people of this community and we will work hard to elect him to the U.S. Senate in 2010," said Senator Deutch. "It is also an incredible honor to receive the endorsement of one of Florida's most dedicated and hardworking public servants, Mayor Lois Frankel. Mayor Frankel has been a true champion for the residents of West Palm Beach, and I am so grateful to have her support."
